Here's our flyer, and some information about the family:
The Vivas-Linares Family
Hosanna Vivas-Linares and her daughter Andrea are beyond excited to partner with Habitat and attain their dream of owning a home. Hosanna and Andrea (age 11) have lived in Washtenaw County for the past seven years. Hosanna, who is originally from Venezuela, works for UofM as a Spanish-English medical interpreter. When you meet Hosanna, it is clear that she is determined to provide the best for her daughter, whether it's a safe and stable home or life skills like money management. Hosanna's determination has shone through in her partnership with Habitat; she immediately began the required classes and is hard at work earning her sweat equity hours in construction.

Lenten Effort - Almsgiving at St. Francis Parish
St. Francis of Assisi, Ann Arbor, Michigan
Lenten Effort - Almsgiving
During the Lenten season we pray, fast, and give alms. “As the Body of Christ, We Serve One
Another.” The Lenten Season is a time of sacrifice almsgiving and prayer, in preparation for our renewal. Use your sack (or cardboard Rice Bowl) for collecting your monetary offerings from savings by preparing simpler meals or making other sacrifices for those living in harsh poverty conditions.
Our St. Francis of Assisi Parish- Peace and Justice Committee is proud to present the following Original LENTEN Efforts/Projects.
